Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine Reviews

First time here and the food was amazing! Ordered the pad see ew which was fresh and had great flavor. Aldi ordered the green chicken curry which was phenomenal! 10/10! The chicken fried rice was also amazing. Great little spot in Roswell if you're in the area. The service was great and there were quite a few seating spots available. It's a lot bigger than I anticipated. Highly recommend!

I went in looking for a good Thai restaurant. Outside didn't look like much. When walking in looked great nice Thai ambiance. When I sat down was offered lunch menu. Service was great had drinks out right away. After ordering lunch food didn't take that long to come out. I ordered chicken chop suey with steamed rice delicious.great friendly service!! Will be returning soon !!!

Fast service very good staff and wanting to please. The food is best in town for oriental it great and to much plant to go home with for another go around. So YES need to go.

I was nervous to order from here because my other experience with Thai food in town was not great. I'm delighted to report I was totally wrong. This place is excellent! I ordered pad thai with tofu and panang curry, spice level hot. Surprisingly, the pad thai was a lot spicier than the curry. Both were very tasty. Fairly large portions, too. I ate the curry the next night and it handled the reheating just fine. In general I find pad thai in New Mexico to vary widely in how much I like it, but this was excellent. I got everything for takeout and it was all packaged very well, which is always appreciated. The space the restaurant is in is large and so all the tables are well spaced apart. I think the only downside is that the parking lot is small for the enormous trucks people in town like to drive, and it's a big confusing to get back out again. Just be head's up and you'll do fine, though.

I had the mixed veggies and tofu and my husband had the Sweet and Sour chicken. Our food was amazing, full of flavor. Service was excellent.

This place caught me by surprise Loved the chicken tom kha and drunken fried rice. Pact with umami and spice. Meat was tender too

Decided to try this restaurant while visiting Roswell NM. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and our server was friendly and attentive. The pork egg rolls, beef chow mein, sesame seed chicken and fried rice were excellent.

Where flavor meets tradition at Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine

Set in the small but culturally rich town of Roswell NM, the restaurant stands out as a go-to spot for both locals and travelers seeking authentic Asian flavors.
What makes it unforgettable? It's the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy that Thai cuisine is known for, executed with care in every dish. From my experience, the pad see ew arrives with perfectly charred noodles, the tom kha soup carries that comforting lemongrass punch, and the green curry? Silky, spicy, with just the right touch of sweetness. Whether dining in or taking out, it’s clear that the kitchen here doesn’t compromise on flavor or freshness.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is laid-back but stylish — think warm wood tones, golden Buddha statues, and traditional Thai décor that invites you to slow down and enjoy. The service? Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, especially helpful for anyone navigating Thai food for the first time.
Exploring the menu packed with Thai favorites and local twists
The menu at Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine deserves its own spotlight. Whether you're a curry connoisseur or a noodle newbie, there’s something for everyone. The classics are all there — pad thai, massaman curry, pineapple fried rice, and of course, dishes bursting with lemongrass, the herb that inspired the restaurant’s name.
But this isn’t just a copy-paste Thai menu. There are thoughtful twists, like a grilled beef salad with a tangy kick that leans into Southwest flavors, and a mango sticky rice dessert that feels right at home in the Roswell heat. You can tell the chefs here care about flavor and experience. Even vegetarians and gluten-sensitive guests will find plenty of thoughtful options without needing to special request.
One tip? Ask about the spice levels. The staff will happily adjust it to your taste, from mild to Thai hot — and believe me, Thai hot isn’t messing around.
